From a geographical point of view, Puglia confirms its position as the leading Italian region for organic oil stocks, with 9,614 tons, equal to almost 32% of the national total.

Closing the ranking, but with still significant numbers, are Umbria (1,565 tons) and Liguria (1,054 tons), territories historically linked to the production of quality extra virgin olive oil.

the remaining portion concerns extra EU oil or blends of foreign origin
